How It Works

MBHAS makes attorney-client documentation support simple. The process is organized into three parts: Enroll, Onboard, and Support.

MBHAS is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, medical advice, case strategy, claim valuation, diagnosis, treatment, or legal representation. MBHAS provides client documentation support only.

Part 1:
ENROLL

The attorney or law firm begins by submitting an inquiry or booking a discovery call.

During this stage, MBHAS and the law firm review:

  • The type of case

  • The client’s documentation needs

  • Whether the client is a good fit for MBHAS

  • The client’s ability to participate by phone, text, email, online form, video call, or with support from a caregiver, family member, or law firm staff

  • The monthly package options

  • The six-month minimum commitment

Before services begin, the law firm completes the required enrollment steps:

  1. Complete the Client Fit Checklist

  2. Select the monthly package

  3. Sign the Attorney Service Agreement

  4. Complete the Order Form

  5. Submit the first monthly payment

  6. MBHAS will not begin client support until the client is approved as a good fit or a conditional fit and enrollment documents are complete.

Part 2: ONBOARD

After the attorney enrollment is complete, MBHAS begins client onboarding.

The client must complete the required authorization forms before MBHAS communicates with the client or receives health-related information.

Required forms may include:

  • Client Authorization Agreement

  • HIPAA-Style Medical Information Release

  • Support Person Authorization, if a caregiver, family member, or law firm staff member will assist

During onboarding, MBHAS creates the client documentation file and schedules the first client check-in.

The client onboarding call reviews:

  • What MBHAS does and does not do

  • Preferred communication method

  • Monthly check-in schedule

  • Weekly update form process, if included in the package

  • Medical appointments

  • Symptoms and pain changes

  • Daily living limitations

  • Treatment updates

  • Missed work or reduced hours

  • Medical bills and expenses

  • Insurance letters or calls

  • Attorney paperwork and missing documents

Clients are reminded that legal questions must be directed to the attorney and medical questions to a licensed healthcare provider.

Part 3: SUPPORT

Once the client is onboarded, MBHAS provides monthly documentation support based on the selected package.

Support may include:

  • Monthly client check-ins

  • Weekly update forms, if included

  • Appointment tracking

  • Symptom and pain tracking

  • Daily living limitation tracking

  • Lost wages and work impact tracking

  • Medical bill and expense tracking

  • Insurance communication tracking

  • Medical record request tracking

  • Attorney paperwork tracking

  • Open-items tracking

  • Monthly attorney documentation summaries

After each monthly check-in, MBHAS prepares a clear summary of documentation for the law firm.

The monthly attorney summary may include:

  • Appointments completed

  • Treatment updates

  • Symptoms reported

  • Daily living limitations

  • Work impact

  • Lost wage updates

  • Medical bills or expenses

  • Insurance communication

  • Documents received

  • Missing documents

  • Open items

  • Client concerns for attorney review

MBHAS uses neutral documentation language such as:

  • “Client reported…”

  • “Client stated…”

  • “Client provided…”

  • “Attorney review requested…”

MBHAS does not provide legal opinions, medical opinions, case strategy, or outcome guarantees.

Important Client Fit Notice

MBHAS is not the right fit for every client.

MBHAS works best for clients who can participate by phone, text, email, online form, video call, client portal, or with assistance from a caregiver, family member, authorized representative, or law firm staff.

Clients without reliable communication access may not be able to fully use MBHAS services.

Before purchase, law firms should confirm that the client is able and willing to participate in monthly documentation support.

Required Before Services Begin

MBHAS will not begin client services until the following are complete:

  • Client Fit Checklist approved

  • Attorney Service Agreement signed

  • Attorney Order Form completed

  • First payment received

  • Client Authorization Agreement signed

  • HIPAA-style Medical Information Release signed, if needed

  • Support Person Authorization signed, if applicable.

Simple Process Summary

1. Enroll

The attorney selects the client, completes the fit checklist, chooses the package, signs the agreement, and submits payment.

2. Onboard

The client signs authorizations, completes intake, confirms communication access, and attends the onboarding call.

3. Support

MBHAS provides monthly check-ins, tracking, documentation updates, and attorney summaries for the selected package.
